The Flower & Fruit Mission hosted a festive evening of dinner and dancing at their annual Snow Ball on December 3, 2011.  The Hall of Springs was an elegant winter wonderland adorned with hand cut snowflakes and white fairy lights.  Money raised at the event is used to benefit the William J. Hickey Women’s Health Services at Saratoga Hospital.  Most recently The Flower & Fruit donated $80,000 to help in the renovation of rooms in the maternity unit.

Co-Chairwomen Amy Sutton and Delores Parillo, together with Flower & Fruit president Janice Hicks, would like to thank the 230+ attendees for their support of the event as well as the numerous donations from supporters unable to attend.  A wonderful evening was had by all. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner and dessert buffet catered by Glen Sanders Mansion and the musical host, Cap Capello, kept the dance floor hopping.  A special thank you to Molly Tarrant, whose beautiful hand-cut snowflakes adorned the Hall, as well as Allerdice Rent-All and Debbie Strom for their donation of equipment and time.  Kudos to the young volunteers; Abbie Aldrich, Demi Morris, Megan McIntyre, Meghan Roberts and Bonnie Tarrant who offered their help with the raffle, cookie sales, and coat check.  As always, compliments to The Hall of Springs whose staff provides exceptional event services.
