Cut-A-Thon to benefit American Red Cross

Savon Studios is hosting a CUT-A-THON to benefit the American Red Cross at 64 Woodlawn Avenue in Saratoga Springs on Saturday, December 17 from 10am to 5pm. The studio will be cutting men’s and women’s hair, with all proceeds being donated to the American Red Cross Hurricanes 2011 and Related Storms Fund. “Our goal is to raise awareness and help people affected by disasters like Hurricane Irene, floods, tornadoes, and related storms,” owner Jane Martuscello explained.  “The donations will enable the Red Cross to prepare and provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance in response to natural disasters like these.”

Appointments are welcome but not necessary. Women’s designer cut and blow dry is $35. Men’s designer cut and style is $20. Snacks and refreshments will be served. There will be give-a-ways and more.

For more information, stop by or call 581-1044 or visit them at Facebook @ Savon Studios Hair Replacement & Salon or www.savonstudios.com.
