The Faculty Association of Adirondack Community College (FAACC) has donated $1,500 to two area organizations that provide groceries and hot meals to people in need. A $750 donation was made to the Open Door Mission in Glens Falls on Tuesday, December 18th. 

The Faculty Association also donated $750 recently to The Fort Edward Community Food Pantry in Fort Edward.
Harry Lowe, FAACC president, presented the donation to Open Door Mission Director Rebecca Endieveri. During the presentation, Lowe said, “The Faculty Association sincerely appreciates the very important work being done by the Open Door and other community organizations. We're glad we can
help them fulfill their mission especially during the holiday season.”

The FAACC encourages everyone to contribute to these and other food banks.

Donations to The Fort Edward Community Food Pantry can be sent to: 131 Broadway Fort Edward, NY 12828. Donations to The Open Door can be sent to: PO Box 3306, Glens Falls, NY 12801.

The FAACC is the collective bargaining organization that represents more than 200 full-time and adjunct
faculty at SUNY Adirondack.
