Students at Storybook Academy Pre-school in Ballston Spa participated in the annual Hop-a-Thon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

 

The MDA Hop-a-Thon Program is an educational special event for preschool through second-grade children at day care centers, preschools and elementary schools. The program offers a weeklong disability awareness lesson plan; hands-on activities for the children with books and a video; and other free educational materials.

 

 

 

 

 

The hop coincided with the school's curriculum on disability awareness and the hoppers earned $500 to benefit MDA.
