The City of Albany and Saint Peter's Health Partners are proud to announce the 14th Annual Mother of the Year Contest, celebrating Capital Region mothers who have demonstrated a tremendous commitment to their family and who have made a positive impact on their children and loved ones.

My mother lives in Connecticut, so luckily for all you out there, she does not qualify. You can fill out a nomination form at www.motheroftheyearalbany.com and they will be accepted until April 22nd.

Five finalists will be met by Albany Mayor Jerry Jennings and Joe Condon of B95.5 at this Year's Tulip Festival. All four finalists will recieve a gift basket of prizes and flowers, and the chosen mom will be a Tresor Paris bracelet from Northeastern Fine Jewelers, dinner at Angelo's Tavolo, flowers from Ambiance Floral and Design and gift certificates from Price Chopper and Dunkin Donuts.


And now everything else you were looking to get mom this year is just not going to cut it...
